Bookivorous

I read books, I write about books, I would probably marry a book if I could find one who liked me enough. Three words to describe me mature, irresponsible, contradictory, unreliable...oh...that's four...

Did you buy books as Christmas gifts this year?

Princesses Behaving Badly: Real Stories from History Without the Fairy-Tale Endings - Linda Rodriguez McRobbie Preacher, Book One - Garth Ennis, Steve Dillon The World's Toughest Endurance Challenges. by Richard Hoad, Paul Moore - Richard Hoad Lawrence in Arabia: War, Deceit, Imperial Folly and the Making of the Modern Middle East - Scott Anderson The City & the City - China MiƩville The Night Circus - Erin Morgenstern

Everyone always gets books from me (hey - it's better than socks, right?) and I couldn't resist sharing my selection this year, because none of my family are on Booklikes, so it won't spoil any surprises.

I got Princesses Behaving Badly for my youngest daughter (who is a bit of a princess, but very well behaved)

I got Preacher for my older daughter, the budding graphic artist.

I got the World's Toughest Endurance Challenges for my husband who thinks nothing of cycling 200km in one day.

I got Lawrence in Arabia for my history-nut Dad

And I got the City and the City, and Night Circus for my lovely Mum, who deserves two books, not just one.

What did you get your family? Spill the beans - doesn't have to be books. I got mine other stuff too!
